Meeting Announcement
November meeting will be Sunday November 4. That is next Sunday for us that are retired and have no idea of what day of the week it is,also month and year.
Location: RT 100 McDonald's
Time: 9:30 a.m.
Last month Gordy,Jr. and John made the meet. I wasn't feeling good at all and couldn't get out of the house. [mea culpa]
I have been talking to Joe about attending , but he has not made a commitment as of yet. The ball is now in his court.
Sundays will continue to be meeting day. Please let me know if you think another day is better. If so, we can discuss at the next meeting.
New business : would anyone like to organize something special for the Christmas holiday meeting?

NOVEMBERS RANT:
Opinion: Do you think 401k money used to invest for retirement (stocks, bonds, GICs, etc.), end-up as compensation to CEOs and board members salaries and bonuses, etc?
As companies expand and intrastate spending increases, funded d by corporate loans and corporate bonds, etc. are stock sales properly accounted for..
As the public tightens their belt , why is it that buying food with coupons (or simply doing without), seems to act to supply the corporations with high corporate spending , private air plans, golf tournament sponsorship and elaborate spending?
